Only by combing a flat head and a hydro plane was creating a one ounce buzzbait possible. As the water passes under the head it is channeled and compressed between the opposing wedges which forces the bait to stay on top at a surprisingly slow retrieve. The heavier weight also allows for longer casts and casts into the wind.
